NBL1 stars take centre stage at FIBA 3x3 World Cup

The Australian Gangurrus' FIBA 3x3 World Cup begins on the morning of Tuesday June 2, with all eight men's and women's representatives at the tournament coming from NBL1 clubs across the country.

The Australian Gangurrus' FIBA 3x3 World Cup begins on the morning of Tuesday June 2, with all eight men's and women's representatives at the tournament coming from NBL1 clubs across the country. 

The eight selected Gangurrus players at the FIBA 3x3 World Cup are listed below:

MEN -
Jonah Antonio - East Perth Eagles (NBL1 West)Jarred Bairstow - Brisbane Capitals (NBL1 North)Lachie Barker - Geelong United (NBL1 South)Alex Higgins-Titsha - Bankstown Bruins (NBL1 East)

WOMEN -

The Women's side will open their campaign against Mongolia and the USA before taking on Spain and Hungary in pool play, while the Men's side will take on Spain and Austria before facing Madagascar and Serbia in pool play.

Once Pool play finishes, the Play-in will start on June 6 from 2:00am AEDT, the Quarter-Finals from June 7 at 1:00am and the Finals on June 8 from 1:00am.
