The 2024 Mitsubishi Motors NBL1 National Finals Referee Panel has been announced, with representation from each of the five conferences.
Referees across the NBL1 North, South, East, West, and Central will descend onto the Sunshine Coast for the all-important event that will feature the 2024 conference Champions, and the men's Knox Raiders and women's Bendigo Braves, battling it out for the crown of National Champion.
NBL Head of Referees, Scott Butler, emphasised the importance of the NBL1 becoming a breeding ground for aspiring refs to grow into higher levels, such as the NBL.
“The NBL1 National Finals referees represent some of the best emerging talent across the country. The States and NBL1 conferences are an important breeding ground for referee development,” Butler said.
“The States have worked hard to produce talented officials to work the Nationals. I am looking forward to working with each of them to continue their growth and development.”
