After a historic NBL1 season, the WNBL 22/23 season will see 80 NBL1 players from the 2022 season suit up for WNBL clubs.
Headlined by Albury-Wogonda Bandits superstar, NBL1 East MVP, NBL1 East Champion and bronze medallist in the FIBA Women's World Cup Lauren Jackson. She makes her WNBL return, last playing in the league in 2016 with the Canberra Capitals. She will now suit up for the Southside Flyers alongside Opals teammate and Geelong Supercats star Sara Blicavs.
