NBL1 East All-Star Five member and conference champion Ai Yamada has signed with the Keilor Thunder for the 2023 NBL1 season.
The Japanese point guard star averaged 19 points, 5.7 assists and four rebounds alongside Lauren Jackson in her return to basketball with the Albury-Wodonga Bandits.
She now joins the Thunder, alongside Southside Flyer and Keilor star Lana Hollingsworth.
Yamada played with the BBC Nyon in the Swiss Basketball League after the 2022 NBL1 season, in 16 games she averaged 16 points and 5.3 assists.
