AJ Johnson has been named the NBL1 North MVP for the 2024 NBL1 North season.
One of the key pieces to last season’s championship run, they have taken on a new role in 2024. The two-way forward has been critical to Northside’s continued success this season, averaging 21 points, 11.6 rebounds, 3.8 assists and two steals per game.
A co-star to last season’s MVP in Courtney Woods, Johnson now joins their former teammate in Woods, Tiana Mangakahia and Cayla George as the conference's MVPs since 2021.
Johnson becomes the third straight Northside Wizard to win the award.
