The Albury-Wodonga Bandits have been crowned the inaugural NBL1 East Champions after beating the Sutherland Sharks 85-72 at the Hills Hornets stadium.
Lauren Jackson has added another championship to her resume, playing for her hometown team prior to playing for the Opals in the FIBA 2022 Women's World Cup.
Unique Thompson was named Finals MVP with 24 points and 11 rebounds in the game.
