The NBL1 East Bankstown Bruins have introduced their women’s side for the NBL1 2023 season.
Last season the Bruins only had a men’s side, where they finished with a 5-17 record but showed grit and were competitive in the latter half of the season. Last season’s star, Lachlan Anderson said that the culture and core the Bruins built last season was a great environment to play in.
“We built the Bankstown culture that’s always been there,” he said on the Coles Express NBL1 Show.
The Bruins this weekend announced a majority of their women's team: Lily Austin, Kiahna Davis-White, Jane Dunlop, Shalome Dunlop, Stacey Evic, Jessie-May Hall, Tara Kalivitis, Rachael Lavaki, Azaleeah Oloapu, Jurnee-A'Mour Straker, Sienna Tutani and Abbey Vallance.
The men’s side was also filled out significantly, you can see the full list via the NBL1 2023 Roster Tracker here.
