The Eastern Mavericks have announced that women's NBL1 Head Coach, Mark 'Billo' Billington has completed his three-year tenure and has chosen to pursue his SA Country State coaching commitments as a priority into 2022.
Billington led the women to minor round premiers in the 2019 season and has continued to grow and extend the playing group by adding season standouts Mollie McKendrick and Rachael Hines.
The Mavericks have thanked Billington for his significant contribution to the club's NBL1 women's program and wished him all the best for his future endeavours.
