The Casey Cavaliers have begun their signing season with a bang, securing the signatures of Taylah Giliam, Geremy McKay, Monique Conti, William Hickey, Louise Brown and Matt Donlan for the 2022 Coles Express NBL1 South season.
Giliam joins the Cavaliers with experience in both the WNBL and NBL1.
Currently playing for the Southside Flyers in the WNBL, Giliam will bring another level of knowledge to the group.
Playing the guard role, she will help lead the team in its first season in NBL1 and will bring plenty of excitement along the way.
McKay joins the Cavaliers with experience in both the NBL and NBL1.
Currently playing NBL for New Zealand Breakers, he continues to work on his game to take it to new levels.
He is a very exciting addition to the group and will bring another level of energy to the team.
Conti joins the Cavaliers with experience in both the WNBL and NBL1.
Most recently, Conti has spent the summer playing AFLW for Richmond.
She is a WNBL championship player and will bring a wealth of experience to the group, having suited up for the Melbourne Tigers in the past two NBL1 seasons.
Hickey joins the Cavaliers with experience in both the NBL and NBL1.
Currently playing NBL for Melbourne United, Hickey is building his experience and will join the team ready to fire.
He is an exciting addition to the group and will bring plenty of highlights, as demonstrated during his time at Melbourne and Ballarat over the past two NBL1 seasons.
Brown joins the Cavaliers with several years of experience at the elite level having previously represented Australia at the U17 & U19 FIBA World Championships.
She has also previously played NBL1 with Nunawading and is currently playing the Melbourne Boomers in the WNBL.
Donlan returns after several years with the Cavaliers.
The sharpshooting forward will be looking to make an impact as the team takes the next step into NBL1.
Donlan looks forward to getting back on the court soon in front of his favourite crowd.
