After a histroic season, Emily Simons will return to the Norths Bears for 2024.
Her 2023 season was impressive to say the least, finishing as an MVP finalist, winning an ANZAC medal, leading the Bears to an NBL1 East championship and taking her team to the National Finals Championship Game.
On social media, the star guard said she cannot wait to return to the Bears.
“I'm pumped to be back with the Bears for the 2024 season,” she said.
“After winning the NBL1 East Championship with this team last year, I'm even more excited to run it back and attempt to have another crack at the National Championship.
“No matter what happens, I really enjoy being part of this team and club and I’m looking forward to getting started!"
In Round 17, she had a career-high 47 points and a four-steal performance against the Penrith Panthers.
She joins Carla Pitman and Maddie O’Hehir on the roster for the reigning champions.
