Scoring machine Bryton Hobbs has signed with the Dandenong Rangers for the 2025 NBL1 South season.
In back-to-back seasons, Hobbs has proven to be a major scoring threat. Averaging 23.2 points per game for the West’s Perth Redbacks in 2023 and 19.7 points for the Diamond Valley Eagles last season.
With a season-high of 37 points, there’s no doubt about Hobbs’ impact on the offensive end, adding 4.8 assists and 4.2 rebounds to his season average.
In the Rangers’ announcement, head coach Sam Woosnam explained what Hobbs will bring to the roster.
“We’re absolutely delighted to have Bryton join us for 2025,” Woosnam said.
“He’s a player who brings both experience and versatility to our roster. His leadership, scoring, and playmaking ability will play a pivotal role in our offence, and his presence on the court will be invaluable for our team.
"What impressed me most about Bryton last season is his consistency across the board no matter who he was playing.”
Hobbs will join the re-signed Mason Pealting on the 2025 roster.
