The Gold Coast Rollers have re-signed TJ Diop for the 2022 Coles Express NBL1 North season.
Rollers Men's Head Coach Anthony Petrie said he was delighted to welcome back a player of Diop's calibre.
"Some players you simply must keep in your program and TJ is definitely one of those," Petrie said.
"I am thrilled he is back with us for another season.
"Having played alongside TJ, I have a real appreciation for the things he does on the court that go unnoticed by the casual fan.
"He will be a big piece for us this year and I’m really excited to see TJ alongside some of the players we already have at the club and players still yet to sign.
"I think he is in for a really enjoyable and great year on the floor.
"Besides what T brings for us on the court, he is a wonderful leader within our group.
"He is a real father figure and always looks out for others and makes sure everyone is the best version of themselves.
"He is a fan favourite and that is largely due to his uncompromising style of play but more so what he does behind the scenes for the community that people don’t see or hear about."
