This Saturday night Bendigo Braves junior, now NBA star Dyson Daniels will be attending the Bendigo Braves home game against Kilsyth Cobras at Red Energy Arena!
The Number 8 pick in the 2022 NBA draft, currently playing for the New Orleans Pelicans (NBA) comes from one of the strongest basketall families in Bendigo. Dyson first suited up for Bendigo in the the inargual season of NBL1 (2019) before moving to Canberra to join the NBA Global Academy.
His father Ricky Daniels is a two time SEABL MVP for the Braves. Kai his oldest brother is a sophmore with the Regis Rangers (Denver, Colorado) and Dash his youngest brother last year played for the FIBA Australian Under 15 team.
For fans wanting to have the opportunity to get a photo with Dyson, or have an item signed here is all the info you need:
- 4:30pm – Red Energy Arena doors will open and fans can begin to line up in our concourse area for Dyson’s arrival.
- 5:00pm - Box office opens.
- 5:00pm to 5.45pm – Dyson will have photos and signings with fans in our concourse area, located just outside the entry to our show court. Please be advised that we are limited to a 45 minute window here, and we will do our best to make sure Dyson meets everyone, but this will be dependant on crowd numbers.
- 6:00pm – Women’s Braves tip off.
- 8:00pm – Men’s Braves tip off.
There will also be an on-court Q&A with Dyson!
Bendigo Braves are expecting an exciting evening, along with large crowds, and wish to remind people going to the game to treat each other with respect, and watch out for everyone’s safety.
