The Hills Hornets have signed Campbell Green, Rachael Lavaki, Josh Kalwy, Taryn Mahoney, Anja Kolodziej, Lachlan Charlton, Ben Kearins and Paris Roditis for the 2022 Coles Express NBL1 East season.
After debuting with the Hills Hornets Championship Men last season, Green will be making his return to the Hive as part of the NBL1 East roster.
An asset under the rim, Green will be a valuable addition to the Men’s roster this season.
Lavaki returns this year after injury however will not let this impact her achievements.
As a consistent and strong player, she will be a meaningful addition to the team.
Kalwy has represented the State and was named the MVP of the 2019 Youth League Men Grand Final.
Playing as a power-forward, Kalwy will no doubt be a valuable addition to the Hills Hornets roster.
The COVID-19 pandemic brought Mahoney back from playing in the American college system.
She brings versatility to both ends of the court and is bound to make an impact in her debut season for the Hornets.
Following an incredible 2021 Waratah season, averaging 13.8 points a game and 4.8 rebounds, Charlton joins the Hills Hornets for the debut NBL1 East season.
Coming back from a knee injury, the Hornets are excited about what Kolodziej can produce as she returns for their debut 2022 NBL1 East season.
With NBL experience having played for the Sydney Kings, Kearins' strength as a guard is without question.
Roditis has been a part of the Hills Basketball Association since she was in a pram watching her sisters play.
After a successful junior basketball career, she made her way into the senior program, where she has been a part of two banner-winning teams.
