Foxwell is excited to return to the NBL1 with the culture the Wildcats have built.
“It is awesome to represent such a passionate and tight-knit community that Eltham is,” he told the Wildcats.
“The support our team has received and also the growth the club has made has been amazing to see and experience.
“I couldn’t be more excited to be back again for my 3rd year at the club and continue building off the back of a successful 2023 season. It's the place where I started my NBL1 journey and would be really special to go one step closer this year and win the championship.”
Coach Craig Stratford has high praise for his young star.
"Owen first joined our senior program two years ago when we commenced building a new Eltham roster,” he said.
“At that stage, he was an exciting young talent with a bright future. What he has achieved during the past two years both at the NBL and NBL1 levels has been outstanding.
“He is a big part of both our team and the broader Eltham basketball community. The respect he has established with the team and our coaching staff, will see Owen taking on more leadership responsibilities within the group this year."
