On the morning of Tuesday the 24th of October 2023, FDBA (Frankston Blues) CEO, Wayne Holdsworth found his 17-year-old son Mac had taken his own life in his home.
Wayne has now used Mac's death as a catalyst to start an organisation called S(MAC)K TALK, focussed on educating small, medium and large organisations on how every person can simply be a better listener.
In honour of Wayne's son, on Sunday 7th April, Frankston Blues are hosting 'Mac's Game' against the Eltham Wildcats, where Wayne will officially be launching S(MAC)K TALK, between the games. $5 of all ticket sales will be donated to S(MAC)K Talk.
If you can’t attend the game but wish to donate, Frankston Blues are also offering the option to donate via purchasing a ‘virtual ticket’ priced at $5 each. All monies will be passed onto S(Mac)K Talk. (Please note: ‘Virtual Tickets’ do not grant entry to the game)
