After 330 NBL1/Big V games for the Ringwood Hawks, you would think that signing on for another season would not be a big deal for club legend Shaun Clarke.
In reality though, the Hawks big man is as excited as ever to help lead his Hawks in the 2022 Coles Express NBL1 South season.
Clarke has officially joined Matt Snow on the Hawks roster and were in fact the first two players who committed to playing after the 2021 season was shut down due to COVID-19.
"The last two seasons have been tough and it makes you realise how special it is to play this game and be a part of this club and culture," Clarke said.
"We won't be taking any game for granted."
After battling some nagging injuries in previous seasons, Clarke will start this pre-season feeling as good as he has in many years and the Hawks will again look to the 6’8 centre to provide his usual inside/outside scoring punch.
