The Indonesian men's national basketball team will tour Australia to play 10 games against NBL1 clubs this month.
The exhibition games are part of Indonesia's preparation for the 2022 FIBA Asia Cup, which begins on July 12 in Indonesia.
The national team will play their first game against NBL1 South team Diamond Valley, led by NBL Champion Dejan Vasiljevic, on June 10, followed by games against Eltham, Wyndham and Waverley, before heading north.
They will then face the Sunshine Coast, South West Metro, Southern Districts, Logan, Ipswich and Brisbane before returning to Jakarta for the Asia Cup tournament.
All the games will be streamed live and free on NBL1.com.au and the NBL1 App.
NBL1 General Manager Dean Anglin is excited for the league and its clubs hosting this level of talent.
"We are really excited to host the Indonesian men’s national team as part of their preparation for the FIBA Asia Cup,” he said.
“It shows the strength of our clubs that we can host a national team and give more Australians a taste of international basketball at its best."
