With her number one goal being to make a WNBL roster and follow in her mother's footsteps, Caitlyn Jones believes the Albury-Wodonga Bandits will be the best place to make her dream come true.
The daughter of Julie Roberts, who was on the inaugural Western Australian WNBL team, the WAIS Rockets. Jones has been a sensation in the NBL1 West for the Lakeside Lightning. She had her career-best season in 2024, averaging 22.7 points on a finals contender at only 23 years old.

As the 2022 women’s champions and going 20-0 this past regular season, the Bandits have a proven track record of being a highly successful women’s program – and it’s where Jones believes she can take the next step.
“I was looking for somewhere to expand my game and grow, and I decided Albury was probably the best place to do that,” she said on 7 News Border.
“I’m really competitive, and I really want to be in a successful team and contribute to that success.
“My mum played WNBL, I want to do what she did as well. WNBL is definitely my number one (goal).”
