The Mackay Meteors and Meteorettes have appointed Joel Khalu and Rob Grieve as their head coaches for the 2022 NBL1 North season.
Khalu is back for another season after guiding the Meteors to the championship in 2021.
Grieve, who currently serves as the Mackay Basketball Player and Coach Development Manager, will take on the additional role as Meteorettes head coach in January.
Grieve said he was looking forward to the challenge of leading the 2022 Meteorettes in his maiden NBL1 coaching campaign.
"I’m really excited about this opportunity and being a part of a program that has a proud, winning tradition," Grieve said.
"We’ve got a lot of talent in our Mackay Basketball women’s program at the moment, and I’m thrilled to be able to work with this group of elite athletes to help build on the clubs success."
