The Lakeside Lightning have announced the appointment of Blake Srdarev as Head Coach of their NBL1 Women's program.
Srdarev comes to Lakeside with a record of success through his many years within the Basketball WA community, as recognised by his peers as the 2021 NBL1 West Women's Coach of the Year.
The Lightning are excited for Srdarev to bring his knowledge, passion, ethics and commitment to making others better to their women's team and seeing the influence flow through to the greater club and community.
Srdarev had this to say about joining the Lightning: "The values and professionalism of the club, as well as the community feel and quality people, make this a perfect fit for me.
"With such a strong record of success on and off the court, I am truly honoured to accept this next challenge and the responsibility that goes along with it."
