The Eastern Mavericks have welcomed Koop McCalop and Nelson Kirksey to their NBL1 Central men's roster for the 2022 season.
McCalop comes across from the Southern Tigers where he 13.10 points and 8.10 rebounds per game on 40.26 percent shooting from the field.
He highlighted his potential against West Adelaide with 21 points and five boards, and soared high for many dunks during 2021.
Kirksey is a previous Woollacott Medal winner with the Woodville Warriors and will add great depth to the Mavs' roster, which has already been boosted by the signing of Ioannis Dimakopoulos.
Kirksey hails from Pittburg and played college basketball for the Kansas City Roos.
