This Friday night (11/08/2023) Basketball Victoria will host the NBL1 South 2023 Awards Night at the State Basketball Centre.
Each night of this week we will be unveiling nominated players, club officials and clubs for each award.
Tonight, we are announcing the MVP / All-Star Five nominees.
Most Valuable Player (MVP) votes were taken (3-2-1) after every game of the regular season by both team's coaches and the referees. The players with the most points are awarded the MVP award. The MVPs must be part of the All-Star Five. The remaining All-Star Five players were voted by all coaches and captains (3-2-1) at the end of the regular season, from the list of the top 20 MVP votes received.
Winners will be announced Friday night from 7:30pm.
