From her South Sudan roots, to finding a home with the Dandenong Rangers, to winning a championship with the Southside Flyers in the WNBL. Nyadiew Puoch’s journey has led her to this moment, being drafted at #12 in the 2024 WNBA Draft by the Atlanta Dream at just 19 years old.
A terrific story but one that Nyadiew knows is far from over. She talks about more work needing to be done, how her situation goes beyond basketball and that at the end of the day she hopes to inspire the younger generation above everything else.
