After winning the Coles Express NBL1 National Title yesterday, Amy Atwell will suit up for the green and gold and represent Australia this weekend.
In the lead-up to the 2024 Paris Olympics, the Opals will take on the Chinese national team in a five-game series in a tour across China.
Atwell will be the most prepared out of the 12-player squad coming off an electric National FInals campaign, scoring 44 points against the Northside Wizards on Saturday and averaging 27 points across the three games – being named to the All-Star Five for the tournament.

The team features NBL1 North First team member Steph Reid, 2023 NBL1 West MVP Alex Sharp and NBL1 South Youth Player of the Year Nyadiew Puoch. While the coaching staff features NBL1 East championship coach Renae Garlepp, who will be an assistant coach to Cheryl Chambers.
Australia last played China in the FIBA Asia Cup semi-final in Sydney last month falling to the eventual gold medallist, 74-60.
