NBL superstar Will Magney has signed with the Gold Coast Rollers for the 2024 NBL1 North season.
Joining the runners-up from last season, Magnay will fill the hole left by Todd Blanchfield – who returned home to play with the Mackay Meteors.
The 6’10" former NBA player will pair up alongside reigning conference MVP Jason Cadee, to form one of the most potent dynamic duos on paper the NBL1 has ever seen.

The runner-up for the NBL’s Defensive Player of the Year award, Magnay has been outstanding during the NBL24 season – averaging 11.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and 1.7 blocks per game for the Tasmania JackJumpers.
Rollers head coach Anthony Petrie said the club is excited to bring in someone of his talents.
"We are extremely excited to welcome Will to the Rollers for season 24. After signing with us for previous seasons, but circumstances not allowing it to eventuate, we cannot wait to finally see him in a Rollers uniform,” he said.
“Will brings qualities to a basketball team that are very rare and sometimes underappreciated. We know that his teammates and fans will love what he brings for us this year.
“We believe that he has so much upside in his game and we cannot wait to help him keep developing into one of best players in the country".
Tasmania will play in the Championship Series against Melbourne United, tipping off on Sunday at 4pm AEDT at John Cain Arena, live on ESPN via Kayo Freebies, 10 Peach and 10 Play.
