The NBL1 Central Preliminary Finals start Saturday. The women’s West Adelaide Bearcats and the men’s Woodville Warriors await their match-up as the winners of the preliminaries will face them in the NBL1 Central grand final next week.

Women’s
Sturt Sabres v South Adelaide Panthers
The Sabres have plenty of motivation to get to the grand final, last round the Bearcats knocked them out to advance so Sturt will be ready for a rematch. The player to watch out for will be Mikayla Williams, she had 22 points in the Semi-Finals loss for the Sabres.
But the Panthers have momentum on their side, coming off a win against Norwood all eyes will be on Jade Johnson. She had 18 points and was the x-factor with clutch bucket after clutch bucket.

Men’s
South Adelaide Panthers v Forestville Eagles
The NBL1 Central MVP Jeremy Smith and Defensive Player of the Year Alex Starling will face off against Adam Doyle, Daniel Johnson, Jack Purchase and Malith Machar in what is set to be one of the best warm-ups to a grand final in recent memory.

The Eagles are in hot form, with Adam Doyle turning back the clock and Daniel Johnson’s ageless fadeaway jumpers will keep the Panthers on edge from start to finish.
