The 2025 NBL1 East season is set to showcase some huge matchups across NSW and ACT, with the campaign beginning on Saturday, March 29.
The season tips off with the Bankstown Bruins facing the Norths Bears, and all eyes will be on this contest to see if it’s another nail-biting finish - last time they faced each other, the Bruins’ Andre Woolford produced a game-winning lay up with two seconds left.
Longtime rivals the Newcastle Falcons and Maitland Mustangs will battle each other in Round 5 on Saturday, May 3.
Grand Final rematches will take place in Round 6, with the women’s Sutherland Sharks and Newcastle Falcons, and the Maitland Mustangs and Canberra Gunners tipping-off on May 10.
The 2025 NBL1 East themed Rounds will start in Round 4 with ANZAC Round, followed by Heritage Round (9), and First Nations Round (13).
