The NBL1 East MVP, Nicole Munger, has re-signed with the Newcastle Falcons for the 2024 NBL1 season.

After averaging 19 points, 13.4 rebounds and four assists last season, being rewarded with the conference MVP as a result. She led the Falcons to the East Finals, where they fell short to the Grand Final runners-up the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles.
The NBL1 East First Team member told Falcons media that she cannot wait to return for the season starting in April.
“I’m so excited to be back in Newcastle for the 2024 season,” Munger said.
“A big thank you to the association, our General Manager Matt Neason, all the sponsors, and everyone involved to help make this a reality.
“We have big goals next year and I’m really excited to play with amazing teammates and under a great coaching staff that I have a lot of confidence and trust in. The city of Newcastle is now a home to me, and I couldn’t be more thankful for the opportunity to be a Falcon again.”
In eight games for the WNBL’s UC Capitals, Munger is averaging 8.4 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game.
