The NBL1 South Grand Finals MVP Sam McDaniels has re-signed with the Hobart Chargers for the 2023 NBL1 season.
McDaniel averaged 16.4 points, 6.2 rebounds and 2.2 assists for the Chargers and put up a massive 32 points, six rebounds and two assists in the Grand Final to secure the South championship.
After leading the Chargers to a Grand Final win over the Mount Gambier Pioneers, went straight into the NBL23 season with the Tasmania JackJumpers.
McDaniel played 14 games for the JackJumpers, who fell short in Game 3 to the New Zealand Breakers.
