The 2025 NBL1 South fixture has been released, with a number of exciting matchups to keep an eye on across the season.
The NBL1 South season will tip-off on Saturday, March 29, with 420 games for local communities to get around.
On opening night, the 2024 Champions - the women’s Waverley Falcons and the men’s Eltham Wildcats - will host games at their home stadiums, where they will present their championship banners and rings.
Round 1 will also see a rivalry contest between the Knox Raiders and Kilsyth Cobras, while a regional rivalry between the Ballarat Miners and Bendigo Braves will also tip-off a huge opening round.
In Round 4, the Wildcats will face the Miners in a huge men’s championship rematch, while the women’s championship rematch will take place in Round 7 between the Falcons and Keilor Thunder.
The all-important Themed Rounds will also return, with ANZAC Round, First Nations Round, Mental Health Round, and Heritage Round all set to be highlights of the season.
On ANZAC Day, the NBL1 South have their traditional ANZAC Day eve clashes - with the Frankston Blues hosting the Dandenong Rangers, followed by the Melbourne Tigers hosting the Nunawading Spectres.
The South season will run from March 29 to July 20th, with the Grand Finals on Saturday, August 16 at the redeveloped State Basketball Centre.
