Multiple NBL1 stars will represent Australia in the coming 3x3 Asia Cup in Singapore.
North Adelaide Rockets star Lauren Mansfield and Perth Redbacks signing Anneli Maley will join former NBL1 players in 2023 NBL1 Central Finals MVP Ally Wilson 2023 NBL1 South All-Star Five member Marena Whittle to reform the gold medal-winning team from last tournament.
The Gangurrus' went 5-0 in the Asia Cup last year, knocking out New Zealand in the final game. They went onto win bronze in the World Cup in June.

The men's team will see NBL1 North First-Team member and Mackay signing Todd Blanchfield return. However, he'll be now joined by Albury-Wodonga Bandit signing and NBL24 standout Will Hickey, Lakeside Lightning star Josh Davey and Centre of Excellence prospect James O'Donnell.
The men's team finished second in the last Asia Cup, losing to Mongolia 21-18 in the gold medal match.
The tournament will take place from March 27-31. Leaving Mansfield, Maley and Davey unavailable during their respective conferences -- while Hickey and Blanchfield will return before the start of the NBL1 East and North respectively.
