At the end of Round 3 of the NBL, Kyle Zunic, Oliver Hayes-Brown, Corey Shervill, Jack Purchase, Matt Hodgson, Mitchell Clarke, Luke Travers and Majok Majok sit on top of the ladder with the Perth Wildcats.
It was Shervill who had his best game of the year during the round, with nine points on 60 percent shooting in the Wildcats' 101-83 win over the Tasmania Jackjumpers.
The Wildcats also took home an 83-70 win over Brisbane earlier in the round, with Southern Districts star Lamar Patterson shining for the visitors.
He put up 17 points to go with two rebounds and two assists before following it up with 11 points and five boards in the Bullets' four-point win over Illawarra.
Despite the Hawks' loss, the Froling brothers stepped up with Sam recording an 11-point, 11-rebound double-double and Harry producing his best performance in red and white with 15 points on 83 percent from the field.
Illawarra did get a win earlier in the round after two overtime periods against New Zealand, but it was Red City's Will McDowell-White who shone brightest among the NBL1 stars on the floor, with 17 points, eight rebounds and four assists.
While the Breakers' losing margin was only one point in that game, they fell harder to Melbourne United in their second game of the round, with the home side producing an 83-60 win.
That wasn't even Melbourne's most dominant performance of the round though, going on a 26-0 run against the Sydney Kings to open the round before recording an 89-47 win.
In that game, Ballarat's Will Hickey scored his first points as a United player, finishing with five for the game.
New NBL1 signing Dejan Vasiljevic also made his return to the NBL after a long injury lay-off.
He will suit up for the Diamond Valley Eagles in NBL1 South next year.
Vasiljevic and his team were able to bounce back from the loss against Melbourne with wins against South East Melbourne and Tasmania to conclude Round 3.
Albury Wodonga's Wani Swaka Lo Buluk shone against the Phoenix with nine points and four rebounds while Logan's Shaun Bruce recorded 11 points, four boards and five dimes against the Jackjumpers.
North Adelaide's Jack McVeigh was solid for the visitors with nine points.
In the other game of the round, Knox's Bul Kuol started for the Cairns Taipans in their 93-67 win over Adelaide.
Kuol proved his value in defence while also putting eight points and three rebounds on the board.
Diamond Valley's Robbie Heath also made his NBL debut in that game after being signed as an injury replacement player for fellow NBL1 star Scott Machado.
