Bendigo's Abigail Wehrung had a breakout game at Brydens Stadium with 16 points and three boards.
Southern Tigers star Morgan Yaeger had a similar effect for Sydney Uni, amassing 10 points to go with three rebounds of her own.
The Perth Lynx also had success this round, recording back-to-back victories over the UC Capitals and Sydney Uni Flames.
Frankston's Darcee Garbin led from the front once again with a huge 24 points and nine rebounds against the Caps, while Kilsyth's Lauren Scherf had 15 points and 14 boards.
Against the Flames, Garbin had 13 points and four rebounds while Scherf again recorded a double-double with 12 points and 10 boards.
Flames co-captain and Rollers star Lauren Mansfield kept her side in it though, amassing a team-high 24 points.
The Caps had better luck against the Bendigo Spirit, recording a 94-60 win.
New Ballarat signing Jade Melbourne recorded 19 points to go with five boards, while Kelsey Griffin had 16 points and eight rebounds.
Anneli Maley showed positive signs for the Spirit, wih 15 points and 11 rebounds to her name.
In the Spirit's other game of the round against Townsville, Maley delivered again with 18 points and 24 rebounds.
Lauren Nicholson was too much for Bendigo though, recording 15 points in the 77-67 win.
The Kilsyth star backed it up with a huge 22 points in the Fire's comeback win over the Melbourne Boomers.
Cairns' Cayla George notched up 24 points and 14 rebounds in her side's two-point loss.
