Round 9 of NBL23 is over and Round 10 starts tonight!
Before we head into a massive double-header, let’s look at how some of our NBL1 stars went in the round before.
Jaylin Galloway improving game-by-game
The Mackay Meteors star has brought all of his experience in the NBL1 North and has taken it with him to help the Sydney Kings try to repeat in NBL23.
In his past five games, he’s averaging close to four points per game more than his season average and has been a key swing piece in Sydney’s bench line-ups.
With injuries to Sydney’s wings, the Kings have relied on and will continue to need Galloway to perform the way he has in the past five games.

Daniel Johnson 400th
Currently playing his 15th season in the NBL, Johnson will play his 400th game in the competition as the 36ers host the Perth Wildcats.
The Forestville Eagles superstar has had a historic career and will further cement his position on Friday night.

Sam Froling dominates
The Illawarra Hawks pulled off a massive win over United on Monday night, off the back of Sam Froling’s 29 points and nine rebounds.
The Townville Heat superstar spent his offseason in the NBL1 North and with the Boomers and he is reaping the rewards in NBL23 individually.
The Heat has signed Sam’s father, Shane Froling as their head coach for the 2023 NBL1 season, while his brother Harry signed with the Ipswich Force. The NBL1 North will have a distinct Froling presence next season, especially if Sam returns.
