Newcastle Falcons superstar Nicole Munger has signed with the UC Capitals for the rest of the WNBL season.
The U.S. import was a superstar in the NBL1 East, dropping a league-high 53 points against the Inner West Bulls.
For the season she averaged averaging 25.6 points per game and 11 rebounds for the team that lost in a heart-breaking final by three points off a buzzer-beating floater.
Munger was described as a “blessing in disguise” by Capitals head coach Kristen Veal.
“Nicole is a blessing in disguise,” Veal said.
“She was always going to come in and just help us be better and bring in a genuinely helpful, humble, hardworking player within the group. That is really important for the group moving forward.”
Munger will make her WNBL debut tonight against the Adelaide Lightning.
