Nicole Munger wins the 2024 NBL1 East MVP

Newcastle Falcons superstar Nicole Munger has been named the back-to-back NBL1 East MVP.

Winning the MVP last season, Munger and the Falcons only got better in 2024. Finishing fourth on the ladder, Munger averaged 24.8 per game (5.8 more than last season) and shot more efficiently from the field while adding 10.6 rebounds and four assists per game. 

Munger was by far and away Newcastle's best player, which likely assisted in the voting process as the three teams above the Falcons are all loaded with equally distributed talent (Albury-Wodonga, Norths, Manly Warringah).
