NBL1 Central’s North Adelaide Rockets have made back-to-back re-signings, with high-flyer Koop McCalop and young star Jordyn Freer returning for their respective teams in the 2025 season.
Freer was a key piece in North Adelaide’s women's finals run this season, averaging 15.4 points per game, 6.9 rebounds and 2.3 assists – claiming the Foot Locker Player of the Week earlier in the season.

On the men’s side, a fan-favourite returns for the Rockets after a disappointing 2-16 finish in an injury-riddled season.
His brother and import recruit, Richard, suffered a season-ending injury in March, leaving Koop to carry the scoring load. In his absence, McCalop averaged 15.1 points and 9.6 rebounds for the season.
