The Rockhampton Cyclones and Rockets scored a pair of Sunday NBL1 North wins against the Sunshine Coast Phoenix while Gabe Hadley and Lil Dart came up huge in wins for the Brisbane Capitals over the Darwin Salties.
The two women's matches in the NBL1 North on Sunday saw the Rockhampton Cyclones beat the Sunshine Coast Phoenix 84-39 and the Brisbane Capitals defeated the Darwin Salties 91-80.
Then in the men's contests, the Rockhampton Rockets beat the Phoenix 99-95 and the Capitals downed the Salties 86-81.

Rockhampton Cyclones (84) defeated Sunshine Coast Phoenix (39)
The Rockhampton Cyclones inflicted some more pain on the Sunshine Coast Phoenix with the 84-39 home victory on Sunday afternoon.
The Cyclones were fresh on Sunday afternoon on their home floor at Bravus Arena and waiting for a Phoenix team trying to bounce back from losing by 18 points the previous night to the Mackay Meteorettes.
Rockhampton raced out to a 20-point lead in the first quarter on the back of scoring 11 straight points before going into quarter-time on top 25-7.
It was more of the same as the afternoon unfolded with the Cyclones ending up leading by 30 points in the second quarter which blew out to 43 in the third and 45 in the fourth, which would be the final margin.
Rockhampton ended up forcing Sunshine Coast into 21 turnovers for the game along with restricting them to shooting 21.4 per cent from the field and 1/21 from three-point range along with outrebounding them 64 boards to 42.
The Cyclones improved to an 8-3 record on the season with the win with Sam Bowman once again dominating with 33 points, 14 rebounds, four steals, three assists and two blocks on 14/20 shooting from the floor.
She had plenty of help too with Lauren Heard delivering 17 points, six assists, five rebounds and four steals, Lara McSpadden 12 points, 11 boards and two assists, and Elizajane Loader six points, seven rebounds and six assists.
The Phoenix have now lost their past six matches by an average of 24.3 points to be on the bottom at 1-11 despite Carlie Smith putting up 11 points, nine rebounds and two steals.
Ashleigh Frampton also had seven points and nine rebounds, Amy Browne seven points and two boards, and Haylee Andrews three points, five rebounds and 10 assists.
Rockhampton remains at home to play host to the Mackay Meteorettes on Saturday while Sunshine Coast Phoenix will be hosting the Ipswich Force.

Brisbane Capitals (91) defeated Darwin Salties (80)
The tough weekend on the road continued for the Darwin Salties with a fresh Brisbane Capitals handing them the 91-80 defeat on Sunday despite 39 points from Courtney Woods.
The Caps were making their only appearance of the weekend at home at Auchenflower Stadium looking to bounce back from a loss last weekend themselves by 19 points against the Southern Districts Spartans.
Darwin arrived having lost its past two games in what is their second straight weekend on the road after a loss last Saturday to the Northside Wizards and then a week later to the Spartans as well.
Those defeats came at a combined 53 points so the Salties were looking to regain some confidence on Sunday against Brisbane, but the Capitals started the better to be leading by as much as six points in the opening term.
The Caps extended that advantage out to 11 points in the third term too before going into the half-time break on top 46-36.
Brisbane's lead grew to as much as 13 points in the final period and the home team would end up winning by 11 points to improve to a 7-5 record on the season and to consolidate sixth position by the end of Round 10.
Lil Dart came up big for the Capitals with 24 points and 12 assists on the back of shooting 9/16 from the field and 3/5 from three-point range.
She had plenty of help too with Hannah Young finishing with 21 points and seven rebounds with 3/3 shooting from downtown while Hannah Hank contributed 20 points, eight boards and three assists, and Megan Mullings 11 points, 11 rebounds and three steals.
The Salties have slipped outside a playoff position now with the three straight losses to be 7-6 even with a huge performance from Courtney Woods made up of 39 points, 10 rebounds, four assists and 12/19 shooting from the field along with 15/19 at the free-throw line.
Abigail Curtin also had 14 points, seven rebounds and two assists for Darwin, Ashley Harris nine points, three boards, two assists and two steals, Ruby Porter eight points, six rebounds and four assists, and Cat MacGregor eight points and eight assists.
Brisbane remain at home to play host to the Logan Thunder on Saturday with the Salties returning home to host the North Gold Coast Seahawks.

Rockhampton Rockets (99) defeated Sunshine Coast Phoenix (95)
The Rockhampton Rockets were able to hold out the Sunshine Coast Phoenix for the 99-95 Sunday victory at home in their only appearance of Round 10.
The Rockets were home at Bravus Arena attempting to bounce back from a last up loss on the road to the Cairns Marlins while the Phoenix arrived following a 40-point defeat at the hands of the Mackay Meteors the previous evening.
It would prove to be a tight contest throughout the afternoon with neither team able to open up a lead greater than nine points at any stage.
It was Rockhampton narrowly leading 28-27 at quarter-time before it was Sunshine Coast on top 60-55 by half-time.
The Rockets turned things back around in the third quarter with 22 points to 15 and then the home team got out to that nine-point advantage with just over five minutes to play on a bucket to Ben Tweedy.
A three-point play from Nelson Kahler a couple of minutes later did have the Phoenix back within three points, but an offensive rebound and put back from Xavier Ford ultimately would seal the win for Rockhampton.
The win improves the Rockets to a 6-5 record on the season with Xavier Ford finishing with another 28 points, seven rebounds, four steals and three assists on 12/22 shooting from the field.
Matur Maker also had 23 points and eight rebounds, Ben Tweedy 23 points and eight assists, and Nighael Ceaser 22 points, 13 rebounds and three assists.
The Phoenix are now 5-7 on the back of a third successive defeat with Jamaal Robateau top-scoring with 26 points, seven rebounds, four assists and two steals.
Nelson Kahler produced 24 points, eight rebounds and three assists as well on 11/12 shooting with Jeryn Lucas contributing 17 points, 12 boards and six assists, Kobe McDowell-White 12 points, six assists and four rebounds, and Darnell Robateau 12 points and three boards.

Gabe Hadley produced a massive performance to lead the Brisbane Capitals to a seventh straight victory, beating the Darwin Salties 86-81 at home on Sunday afternoon.
The Caps put their six-game winning streak on the line at Auchenflower Stadium up against the visiting Salties team who started their road double weekend beating the Southern Districts Spartans the previous night by 14 points in impressive fashion.
That set the stage for a tantalising match up to close Round 10 on Sunday afternoon and by the end of the first quarter the teams couldn’t be separated with the scores tied at 25-25.
Brisbane did threaten to pull away opening up a nine-point lead in the second term but it was still just a six-point ball game by half-time.
The Caps lead did get out to as much as 11 in the second half and while the Salties kept on fighting, they could never quite close the gap as Brisbane held on for the five-point win.
The victory is a seventh in-a-row for the Capitals who are now 8-4 on the season as a result in fourth place with Gabe Hadley the star of the afternoon with 30 points, 10 rebounds, four assists and two steals.
His Brisbane Bullets teammate Sam McDaniel also had 20 points, seven rebounds and four assists while Matthew Johns contributed 10 points, nine boards and three assists, Isaih Tueta 10 points, three rebounds and two assists, and Cameron Thew nine points, four boards and four blocked shots.
The Salties return home having with three of four wins from the last two weekends on the road to sit second still at 10-3 with Makuach Maluach ending up with 21 points and seven rebounds on 7/11 shooting from the field, 3/4 from downtown and 4/4 at the foul line.
Sean Macdonald also finished with 19 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists for Darwin, Chier Maker 11 points and seven boards, Wani Swaka Lo Buluk 11 points, three rebounds and three assists, and Kouat Noi nine points, three boards and three assists.
Brisbane remain at home to play host to the Logan Thunder on Saturday with the Salties returning home to host the North Gold Coast Seahawks.
