The Cobras had lost their past six matches but were leading by four points at quarter-time before seeing that lead get out to double-figures in the second frame.

Her up fake got her defender in the air, she took a dribble inside the arc and then coolly knocked down the jumper to put the Cobras on top by two.
Melbourne were out of timeouts but even then Dillard had more time than not needing to jack up a pressured half court shot, but that's how the game ended with the Cobras scoring their third win of the season as a result.

Waverley Falcons (87) lost to Casey Cavaliers (95)
The Casey Cavaliers snapped an 11-game losing run and put a dagger into the top four hopes of the Waverley Falcons with the 95-87 road victory.

The Cavaliers then kept that momentum going with 30 points to 17 in the third quarter which could very well be their best 10 minutes of basketball for the season considering they had only won the two games previously.
The Cavs then held firm in the fourth frame to score the eight-point victory to snap their 11-game losing slide to improve to 3-14 on the season.
Preston Bungei top-scored in the win for Casey with 19 points and seven rebounds with Dillon Stith adding 18 points, 10 boards and five assists on 7/10 shooting.
