Ringwood Hawks 60 defeated by Waverley Falcons 75
The Waverley Falcons secured a win against the Ringwood Hawks, 75-60 on Monday night at Norwood Secondary College.
The Falcons displayed a true team performance led by McKenzie Forbes, who scored 21 points, while Rebecca Cole added 15 points and dished out 11 assists. The team excelled in forcing turnovers, scoring 20 points from Ringwood's lapses. From start to finish the Falcons maintain control, leading for all 40 minutes of the game.
The Hawks never managed to find their rhythm, only getting eight total points out of their bench and two scorers in double-digits. Annabel Deerbon led their scoring with 18 points, but the team's overall shooting from outside was poor, hitting only 36.4 percent from the field.

Ringwood Hawks 74 defeated by Waverley Falcons 100
The Waverley Falcons soared past the Ringwood Hawks 100-74 on Monday night at Norwood Secondary College.
The Falcons dominated with Maurice Howard leading the charge, dropping a game-high 24 points off the bench. While Dejan Vasiljevic was unavailable, Dexter Kernich-Drew and Malik Meunier filled in with 19 and 15 points respectively, showcasing a solid offensive performance.
Waverley's efficiency from the field was impressive, shooting 48.7 percent, and outrebounding Ringwood by a significant margin, grabbing 50 boards to the Hawks' 37. Their defence was on point too, with nine steals and seven blocks, keeping the Hawks at bay.
On the other hand, the Hawks struggled from the start. despite having four scorers in double-digits, headlined by Braelen Bridges' 17 points -- It wasn't enough to challenge the Falcons. Ringwood faces significant issues in game execution, giving up the ball 15 times and allowing Waverley 16 second-chance points to the Hawks' four.
