The Ringwood Hawks have re-signed star import Jonathan Lawton for the 2025 NBL1 South season.
Lawton is been a critical piece to Ringwood’s NBL1 team for the past two seasons and quickly becoming a fan favourite in the Eastern Suburbs. Last season he averaged an outstanding 20 points, 5.1 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 2.4 steals for the Hawks last season.
While the team struggled to meet expectations last season, head coach Damien Smith still knew Lawton would be essential for success in 2025.
“Jon has the ability to do whatever the team needs depending on the situation, he is so multi-talented.” Smith said.
“He has spent the off-season here getting his body right and is in fantastic shape. We expect him to have a great season.”
