The Nunawading Spectres have re-signed guard Costas Hronopoulos for the upcoming Coles Express NBL1 South season.
Hronopoulos, 30, returned 7.78 points at 46.84 percent and 4.92 rebounds in 14 games for the Spectres last season.
The 6'1" guard is known league-wide for his trademark two-way hustle, playing an integral role in the Spectres 2019 championship run.
"It’s great to be back at Nunawading for the 2022 NBL1 South season," Hronopoulos said.
Hronopoulos, a graduate of the Nunawading Spectres junior program embarks on his 20th year with the program and one that he hopes will see his side return to post-season action.
"It’s an exciting time for the program with quite a few changes to the roster.
"I’m looking forward to helping lead this next group of young guys through this year and beyond.
"Their hunger for success pushes us all at every session and promises to be another big year for the club."
Spectres Head Coach Andrew Cutler is excited to have Hronopoulos return for another campaign.
"It’s great to welcome Costas back for yet another year at Nunawading," Cutler said.
"As a Spectres junior, he’s a great example for aspiring young players at our club.
"We look forward to the leadership he’ll bring to our group in 2022."
