The Kilsyth Cobras have signed Carly Turner, Trey Moses, Mitch Dielemans and Adi Tomada for the 2022 Coles Express NBL1 South season.
Tomada electrified in his debut NBL1 season, leading the Cobras in scoring (15.0ppg) and assists (3.8apg), and ranking second on the team in steals (1.4spg).
Tomada’s elite point guard play was a driving force behind the Cobras' top-four finish in 2021, with the Maroondah Magic junior possessing a knack for making big plays on both ends of the floor when it mattered most.
Turner was a terror on the defensive end for the Cobras in 2021, leading the team in steals (1.9spg) while ranking second in blocked shots (1.2bpg) and rebounding (7.1rpg).
Turner was also an adept playmaker, finishing second on the Cobras' roster in scoring (9.5ppg) and assists (2.9apg).
Moses returns to Kilsyth for his second stint, but first time on court, with the Cobras, having joined the team in 2020 for just over a week prior to the cancellation of the season due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Signed to headline the Cobras' frontcourt in 2020 following a standout collegiate career at Ball State, Moses is set to return as a key piece once again in 2022, this time after enjoying a successful stint in Europe over the past 18 months.
Dielemans enjoyed a strong 2021 season with the Cobras, enjoying success after making the jump to the NBL1 on a full-time basis.
The lightning-quick floor general provided a spark off the bench for the Cobras, leading the team in free throw percentage (85 percent) and ranking second on the team in assists (2.8apg) and three point percentage (39 percent).
Dielemans finished 2021 in season-best form, averaging 10.0 points, 4.0 assists and 1.2 steals per game over the final five games of the season, helping the Cobras go 4-1 during that span.
