The 2024 NBL1 West Sixth Player of the Year Mikayla Pirini has signed with the Sydney Comets for the upcoming NBL1 East season.
The former WNBL guard spent last season with the Perth Redbacks, averaging 10.5 points, 4.8 assists and 3.3 rebounds off the bench for the finals team. With a season-high of 23 points, Pirini can easily be a go-to scorer in the starting line-up or control the bench unit.
Heading into the season, Pirini cannot wait to get started with her first season in New South Wales.
“I’m very excited to be part of the Sydney Comets this season,” she said.
“I’ve heard great things about the club and I’m looking forward to meeting my new teammates, go Comets!”
