The Warwick Senators had a historic NBL1 West season, handing the then-undefeated Joondalup Wolves their first loss and then going on their own 18 game win-streak to finish the season.
They were led by conference MVP Stacey Barr, who has been on an absolute tear all season. She averaged 22 points, 8.5 rebounds and 4.6 assists while being one of the most dangerous shooters in the league.

The 18-2 Senators could not be stopped in the finals, beating the Willetton Tigers by 12 points in the Qualifying Finals and taking care of the Mandurah Magic by 13 points in the Preliminary Final.
In the Grand Final, the Tigers could not get revenge as both Barr and Finals MVP Leonie Fiebech dominated the game, Fiebech has 21 points and 10 rebounds with a major defensive effort while Stacey Barr lit up the defence with 23 points, nine assists and six rebounds to send her Senators to the NBL1 National Final.
The Senators will face the NBL1 Central West Adelaide Bearcats on Friday in the battle of the two best teams from the regular season and finals start and it will tip off the Coles Express NBL1 National Final.
