The Melbourne Tigers have announced the re-signing of NBL1 South 2023 MVP Jack Purchase, for the upcoming season.
A product of the Melbourne Tigers junior system, Purchase, a 6'9" Power Forward, honed his skills at the collegiate level with the University of Hawaii before making a mark in the professional arena with NBL teams such as Melbourne United, Perth Wildcats, and Adelaide 36ers.
In the 2023 season, Jack showcased his talent by averaging 21.4 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 3.9 assists per game. His exceptional performance earned him the league co-MVP title and a spot in the All-Star Five.
The Tigers Coaching Staff is thrilled about Jack's return for the 2024 Season.

Despite narrowly missing the playoffs last season by two games, the Tigers have been actively strengthening their roster around a young core group. Jack Purchase remains a focal point in their recruitment strategy. In the highly competitive NBL1 South Conference, known for its strength and depth, the Melbourne Tigers, under Jack's leadership, aim to secure a spot in the Finals for the 2024 season, striving to build a championship-caliber team.
