The Mount Gambier Pioneers have secured the return of their former Club Captain and three-time SEABL Championship player, 32-year-old Tom Daly for the upcoming NBL1 South 2024 season.
A pivotal figure for the Pioneers over nine seasons, including five as captain, played 188 games for the Pioneers before taking a break last season.
In the NBL1 South 2022 season, Daly averaged 8.5 points, 3 assists, and 3 rebounds, helping the Pioneers reach the Grand Finals, where they finished as Runners-Up.
Richard Hill, the Head Coach of Castec Rural Pioneers, emphasized Daly's integral role in the team's past successes and expressed confidence in his ability to contribute to future triumphs.
