The Launceston Tornadoes have re-signed Kelsey Griffin for the 2022 Coles Express NBL1 South season.
Griffin is currently leading the UC Canberra Capitals team towards a WNBL grand final and has had a stellar individual year.
Head Coach Sarah Veale said the team and club are thrilled to have secured the forward for the season.
"Kelsey has a basketball CV that is one of the most impressive in the country and her impact on the playing group and club is something that coaches only dream about," Veale said.
Griffin was equally excited about her return to Tasmania.
"After talking to Sarah, I felt incredibly appreciated and valued," Griffin said.
"She understood there was far more to me than basketball and believed in the impact I could make for her team.
"This made it easy to sign with the Tornadoes.
"With so much uncertainty, it is important for me to sign for coaches and clubs that align with my values and fill up my cup, and Launceston does just that.
"I am so excited to be back."
