The miracle run for the Waverley Falcons has had the fairy-tale ending it deserved, with the club being crowned the 2024 Mitsubishi Motors NBL1 South women’s champions after an 87-82 win over the Keilor Thunder.
Waverley won 15 of its last 16 games to be crowned champions.
